We are Bob & Julie. Thank you so much for reading our letter.
We greatly admire your courage and strength in considering
adoption. We would love to get to know you and learn about
the hopes and dreams you have for the baby and for yourself.
We would very much like to have an ongoing relationship with
you if that is what you desire.
PHOTOAbout us...
We are so excited about parenthood! We love each other and
our families very much. We’ve been happily married for 17
years. Our lives have been blessed with so many wonderful
people, experiences, and good things - we can’t wait to share
all of them with our child! We both have very flexible schedules
and we are eager to spend quality time with our new little one.
Bob works as a Physicians Assistant, and Julie is an
Administrator for a school district. Julie plans to stay home after the baby is born and then later work part-time. Bob also plans to take time off. Our child will be our first priority.
About Bob...
Bob is witty, fun, and adventurous. He is an easy-going guy with a good-natured personality who loves his family. He’s a true romantic. At our wedding, he surprised me and sang a love song. He recently impersonated Elvis and entertained a group of 300 people. He can’t wait to sing his favorite love songs to the baby. He has a playful side to him too. He enjoys playing hide-and-seek and toss with our small dogs. Bob is a devoted husband, and he will make a great dad!
About Julie...
Julie is an extremely kind and loving person. She is always thinking of others before herself. She will go out of her way to make someone feel special. She loves to cook and bake - she is so excited about someday having a little helper to bake cookies and cakes together. Julie will make a wonderful mom! She looks forward to cradling the baby, teaching our child their ABC’s, and hosting fun-themed birthday parties and family celebrations.
Our home...
We live in Altadena, California, approximately 30 miles north of Los Angeles, and close to the mountains, beaches, and many theme parks. Our neighborhood has many families with babies and young children. The baby’s room is already filled with lots of whimsical and charming baby things, and stuffed animals that will bring lots of joy to our new little one.
Never a dull moment...
Our friends tell us we are spontaneous people. Often on weekends we venture off to the mountains for a road trip or on a hike to a new place we haven’t been before. We love to walk along the beach and run in and out of the waves while our feet leave impressions in the soft sand. On rainy days, we love to cuddle up together in front of the fireplace, sipping hot cocoa and eat homemade chocolate chip cookies together. We can’t wait to share these fun times with our child.
Our family and friends...
We both have close-knit families. Julie’s mom, sister, and brothers and their families live very close to us and they cannot wait to spoil their niece or nephew. We have enjoyed many memorable celebrations together; they are always full of fun and laughter. Bob's parents and his grandmother live in Arkansas; we have lots of fun when we visit them and his brother and his family. They are very excited about a new grandchild to love. We enjoy having our families and friends over to sing karaoke, dance, and laugh.
Our dream...
Our dream is to provide a loving, compassionate, and happy home for our child. We can’t wait to experience all the wonderful things that come with parenthood like playing peek-a-boo, making sand castles at the beach, and camping out under the stars.
Our values...
We are people who love life, and who are committed to raising a happy and healthy child. Kindness, compassion, and honesty are important qualities that we hold dear and want to share with our child. We value our life-long love for each other and our friendship. It’s the little things in life, taking time to enjoy each day, spending quality time together, laughing at ourselves, and enjoying a home cooked meal together.
